Novelda's festivities held in honour of its Patron Santa Maria Magdalena coincide with the Moors and Christians parades. On the 20th of July a pilgrimage has been realised since 1866 in which the image of Santa Maria Magdalena is carried from the Sanctuary de la Mola to the city.
