Museo de la Huerta in Rojales is a museum dedicated to the local agricultural land. A place where you can learn while having fun at the same time, the museum is housed in Hacienda de Llanos, an old agricultural estate that is also known as Hacienda de D. Florencio.

The vast 30,000m2 estate has been converted into a museum that will give you an insight into what rural life and work looked like. You can explore the different buildings comprising the estate and take a look at the tools that have been donated by the local community. This ethnological exhibition brings together objects of interest and puts them on display such that visitors can delve into every aspect of country life, from the home to the huerta, discovering traditional means of transport, personal belongings, saddles, the cultivation process and much more.

The museum collection continues to grow with ongoing donations from the community. The land surrounding the museum tells the story of local farming in a landscape criss-crossed with irrigation channels that speak of the ancestral wisdom of the men and women living off the land.
