Autum Winter Cultural Program

Many events with shows of music, theater, dance and events for the whole family comprise the cultural program for the next four months September, October, November and Dezember. In the musical line, we can enjoy a wide variety of styles, ranging from flamenco, choral music, music bands, etc. Highlights include the musical tribute to ABBA , the play Animales de Compañía and in the humorous genre the shows Dos Tontos y Yo, as well as the monologue by Ángel Martín and the show Madre Mía.

September begins with the ninth edition of the Torrevieja Audiovisual Film Festival. In the middle of the month, a performance of Sleeping Beauty will delight the whole family with a twist to the classic story, focusing on memory, recollections and cultural heritage. At the end of the month, the 36th International Choral Meeting Ciudad de Torrevieja will take place, bringing together national and international choirs that offer a selection of songs from the most diverse musical styles. The touch of humour will be provided by Florentino Fernández, José Mota and Santiago Segura, who will take to the stage to make people laugh. For the first time, three prominent figures of humour and Spanish television appear in a single work, Dos Tontos y yo.

The month of October is packed with events, starting with the Gala for Elderly to celebrate their International Day , followed by the comedy "Mujeres", La Dramedia", a fun theatre show that promises to be a slumber party. During the same weekend, the acclaimed Pastora Soler will celebrate her 30th anniversary of artistic career and also the first session of the Campaign of 21st Musical Exchange Concert will take place. One of the best international tributes to the legendary Swedish band ABBA can be enjoyed at the Auditorium and for those who prefer humour, they can go to the theatre and enjoy the show "Madre mía". Later, the renowned vocal group Sette Voci will announce their first album in a concert, the play Animales de Compañía will question the value of friendship and sincerity. During those days we will also have impressive operas "Maria Callas: Stogato" and Puccini's Tosca.

In November, the Casa de Andalucía Rafael Alberti is organizing the 18th Flamenco Meeting; following by the concert for the 20th Anniversary of the Manuel Barberá Choral Group and also another by the Youth Band Union Musical Torrevejense. On the 16th, the Coronation of the Salt Queen 2024-2025 will take place and to celebrate the patron saint of Santa Cecilia, there will be different concerts by Los Salerosos, the Union Musical Torrevejense and the Conservatorio Profesional Francisco Casanovas. The month will end with a new concert by the Royal Film Orchestra and music from 100 years of cinema, also with Diana Navarro's opera "DE la Piquer a la Navarro" and finally with the show for the whole family "Lily: A Tale of Torrevieja".

The last month of the year starts with Ángel Martín's comedy monologue dealing with mental health and the Diego Ramírez Pastor Award will also be presented at a special event. A new children's show by the successful band Pica Pica will delight the little and as every year the Youth Band Los Salerosos and the Youth Band UMT will give their Christmas concerts. The wonderful show "The Nutcracker" performed by the Barcelona ballet, the Navidad Rociera, the play Los Amigos de Ellos Dos and the Christmas concert "Broadway" will end the year
