Cortes de Pallás is home to all sorts of natural treasures. One of these is Cueva Hermosa, a spectacular karstic cave where you can see some incredible stalactites and stalagmites.

Cueva Hermosa is one of the deepest and most interesting caves in the local area. It is accessed through a narrow opening that then expands into a large and sloping underground gallery. A place that flaunts the most impressive feats of nature.

The cave counts a number of different rooms and a pretty underground spring. As you make your way through the different spaces, you will also see bats in their natural habitat.

Cueva Hermosa is located close to Castillo de Chirel, a fortress that is well worth a visit during your time in Cortes de Pallás. A spectacular hiking route will lead you up to the castle with its commanding views over the landscape.

You will need about five hours to explore Cueva Hermosa and marvel at all the wonders it holds. Previous caving experience is a must. Come along to embark on an adventure in the depths of the earth.
