Don’t miss visiting the History and Archaeology Municipal Museum in Cullera Castle. Both its location and what's inside are truly special.

Museu Municipal d'Història i Arqueologia, Cullera’s History and Archaeology Municipal Museum, resides in the Gothic chapel of the city’s 10th-century castle. It’s a must-visit as part of your sightseeing tour around Cullera.

However, it is not just its prime location that makes this museum so interesting. Step inside and you’ll discover a large collection of archaeological artefacts that will take you on a journey from prehistoric times to modern-day life.

What’s more, the museum’s collection of arrowheads is intriguing, as is the display of objects used to decorate burial caves, giving us a better idea of who lived here 1,700 years ago during the Bronze Age. You’ll also see the first examples of ceramic work from "Les Oliveretes" settlement, as well as metal work and stone tools that were used by farmers at the time.

Enjoy an interactive and immersive tour around the museum, a great destination for every type of traveller.
