Romería y Feria de San Pascual Bailón, San Pascual Bailón Pilgrimage and Fair in Monforte del Cid, is a tradition that attracts many locals and visitors to the area every year on the 17 May.

The event takes place in Orito, a district of Monforte del Cid, and comprises a pilgrimage to San Pascual Bailón Cave where pilgrims leave offerings of votives and candles. The scenery in this area is beautiful, making a getaway to enjoy the festivities well worth it.

Running alongside the pilgrimage is San Pascual Bailón Fair. Make your way to San Pascual Square in Orito and wander around the stalls selling artisanal products, traditional sweet treats, San Pascual staffs, kitchen utensils and much more. You certainly won’t go home with your hands empty.

San Pascual Bailón Pilgrimage and Fair in Orito is the perfect excuse to visit Monforte del Cid and sample the Paloma Anise. Put the 17 May in your diary and don’t miss it.
