In September, Alaquàs hosts its spectacular festival Cordà en honor al Crist de la Bona Mort, Cordà in honour of Crist de la Bona Mort - an unmissable and fiery event! This cordà, or fireworks display, involves firing countless fireworks and firecrackers within an enclosed space, transforming the festivities for a few intense minutes into an electrifying display of pure fire. Rest assured, all participants are fully equipped and trained to handle the fireworks safely.

Cordà in honour of Crist de la Bona Mort serves as the grand finale of a series of events, including a Mass and a procession which both take place the same day. The spectacle is held at night, lighting up the inky sky with bright colours, to the delight of onlookers.
